On behalf of all of our school community, I would like to welcome you to the St Margaret Mary’s  Catholic Junior School website.

St Margaret Mary’s is a special place where children feel safe and work towards achieving their dreams each day, with the support of a highly skilled and dedicated team of staff. I am proud to be the Headteacher of a school with a rich and varied curriculum, where each child is encouraged to set themselves goals and work towards achieving these each day. As a Catholic school, the teachings of Jesus are at the heart of all that we do in school. We encourage our children to love and support one another as we make our daily journey through life ‘Loving, Learning and Growing Together with Jesus.’

Through our bespoke SPOTLIGHT Curriculum, we ensure that the education we provide for our pupils is inclusive and develops all aspects of their personality, thus allowing them to leave primary school as well-rounded individuals with high aspirations and a lifelong love of reading. Our ‘SHINE’ Personal Development Curriculum encourages our pupils to adopt safe and healthy lifestyles and to develop a clear sense of moral purpose. It prepares our pupils for the diverse world in which they live and actively encourages them to make a positive contribution to both the local and global community. 

Our school is supported by a strong partnership with The Archdiocese of Liverpool, Knowsley Borough Council, St Margaret Mary’s Catholic Infant School and the Parish of St Margaret Mary’s.  We have an experienced Governing Body that guides the work of the school and wants only the very best for our children.
